Personalized pathways, limitless possibilities.

PALS (Personalized Alternative Learning System) is developed as part of a research study aims at increasing the readiness of ALS Junior Level learners for the upcoming Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) assessment. The project was spearheaded by Dr. Mamerto T. Goneda (researcher) of the University of the East, Richard B. Zabala, MSIT (researcher) of Rizal Technological University, Mrs. Geraldine O. Granado (ALS teacher) of Lagro High School, and programmer Mr. Ian John Licos of QuinNova Tech Systems Inc.

PALS is an innovative and holistic learning approach to education that blends flexibility, technology, and personalization to address the unique needs of every ALS learner. By integrating adaptive learning tools and neural network algorithms, PALS provides customized learning pathways, enabling ALS learners to progress at their own pace, develop their skills, enhance their knowledge and understanding, and achieve their goals.

PALS was designed to support marginalized and diverse learners, including out-of-school youth, working students, OFWs, married people, and adults. It offers an inclusive and accessible 24/7 learning environment that is available anytime, anywhere, and provides flexible and dynamic opportunities that extend beyond the traditional classroom walls. With its focus on empowerment, active engagement, and real-world readiness, PALS ensures that every learner has the chance to succeed and to not be left behind.
